As with all our menu choices, the meals are freshly prepared on the train using environmentally responsible ingredients; humanely raised, hormone-free meats and fresh, line-caught fish.

Our Most Traditional Rail Dining Experience
$124 per person- Includes train fare, a multiple course meal, & a welcome taste of wine.
The Gourmet Dining experience is one that allows you to spend time in both a classic 1915-1917 Pullman Lounge Car and Dining Car. The cars are luxuriously furnished and equipped with picture windows to maximize the view. All the rail cars are expertly finished with Honduran mahogany paneling, etched glass partitions, and brass accents.
The Gourmet Car has two seatings. Both seatings are offered a welcome taste of wine upon being seated. If you are assigned to first seating, you will be served your salad and main courses in the dining car while traveling up the valley, and will be served dessert and coffee or tea in one of the lounge cars on the return trip. If you are assigned to second seating, you will be served appetizers and beverages in one of the lounge cars, and will enjoy your salad, entree and dessert in one of the dining cars on the return trip.
