Share the magic of the Napa Valley in January as the sun sets at 5:30 pm. Enjoy your entire evening bathed in moonlight. This moon is named the "Full Wolf Moon" because wolf packs would howl hungrily outside Native American villages. Our Moonlight Escape gourmet dinner takes place upstairs in the Vista Dome rail car with its almost 180-degree view. Guests glide over the evening vineyards touched with the silver light of the rising moon. This is a five-course dinner, including a glass of sparkling wine. There is seating for only 24 couples.

The only thing more romantic than a dinner for two in a private booth in the Napa Valley Wine Train's 1952 glass domed, Vista Dome is making the journey under the light of the full moon.

Savor Executive Chef Kelly Macdonald's specially crafted dishes after your welcome glass of sparkling wine. Then relax, enjoy the exceptional nocturnal view of the Napa Valley, two glasses of house wine, and the adventure of a train traveling through the night over the silver vineyards.

*A delightfully intimate and romantic environment such as this, lends itself to a more adult experience. Children are welcome (who doesn't love to look at the moon?) but, there is no discount for the little ones and fussy children might need to retire to another rail car temporarily, in order to maintain the serenity of the evening.
