Weekdays

Buying Your Ticket

This is the San Francisco Ferry Building. It's address is 1 Ferry Bldg., San Francisco, CA 94511. If it is a weekday, your BayLink Ferry to Vallejo departs at 8:10am on the ocean side of the building. If it is a weekend, your Route 200 Baylink Bus departs at 8:10am at the bus stop just north of the Ferry Building on Embarcadero St. We recommend you arrive at 7:50am so that you will have enough time to purchase tickets.

To purchase tickets, please enter the main Ferry Building entrance, which is located underneath the big clock tower.

Walk until you reach the central corridor of the building, then look right. You should see the sign for "Bay Crossings", the vendor who sells the BayLink ferry tickets.

Here is what the "Bay Crossings" shop looks like. "Bay Crossings" should open at about 7:50am. Please ask the shop keeper for a round trip ticket to Vallejo (pronounced VAL-"A"-HOE) via BayLink.

You should have a ticket that looks something like this.

Finding Your Ferry

Walk past "Peet's Coffee and Tea" (towards the Bay) and exit the building. Turn left (North). You should see something like this.

This is your Ferry.

And this is your Gate. You will be boarding the Vallejo bound ferry at Gate B. Please note, there are two ferries that depart from this gate at around the same time. Please be sure you are on the Vallejo Ferry and NOT the Tiburon Ferry. Once you are on the ferry, find a seat and relax.

Weekends

Finding Your Bus

Please note that the "Bay Crossings" kiosk may not be open on time on weekends, so guests should procede directly to the BayLink Bus stop, which is located north of the Ferry Building on Embarcadero street.

The price for the Bus is $15. You must have exact change.

This is the blue sign to look for.

Board the Shuttle for the Napa Valley Wine Train

When you reach Vallejo, disembark the ferry. When you finally reach the land, turn right.

You should see a sign that says "Ferry Terminal, Tourist Information". A shuttle will be waiting by this sign. Please give the driver the name of the person who made your Wine Train reservations or your Wine Train reservation confirmation number. The driver will check to make sure that you are on the passenger list, and will provide you with information about the return trip.
