October is here and that means the sun is leaving us and halloween is near! Make sure to get tickets before they are sold out to our Trick-or-Train and after party. The event is on Friday October 28th. Also we were featured on Entertainment Tonight so be sure to watch the clip!

August is here and if you got married this summer you may be looking for a beautiful  place to honeymoon. Napa Valley is one of the worlds most romantic places and the Wine Train is one of the most romantic dinner excursions.Vacationers don't be afraid to bring the whole family to Wine Country Train rides are so much fun for kids and there is plenty for the kids to do within a ten mile radius from the heart of downtown Napa.

 We are in mid summer, so far it has been very exciting! Father's Day BBQ Train was a treat, the Wine Train has crossed the new constructed bridge as part of the Flood Control Project, the Fourth of July Train was stunning and a blast as always and Retired NFL Football Coach Dick Vermeil is joining us  for a Vintners lunch. Whew! We still have a month of summer to go.

Beginning Monday, March 15, First Street between Soscol Avenue and McKinstry Street will be closed to vehicle traffic during the raising of the rail crossing and other work for the Napa River-Napa Creek Flood Protection Project. Detour routes are posted. Pedestrian access will be maintained along First Street throughout the vehicle detour. First Street is scheduled to re-open for vehicle traffic on July 31. To improve traffic circulation on the detour route during this work, the City of Napa has activated a new traffic signal at the intersection of Soscol and McKinstry.

(Jan. 28, 2010) Napa Valley, California (CNN) -- It is the quintessential Napa Valley experience.
Passengers aboard sleek antique rail cars pay more than $100 for a four-course meal, not including the wine. A recent lunch aboard the train included steak, lobster cakes and local greens.
During their three-hour journey winding through Napa Valley, passengers can choose from more than 100 wines to complement their meal.

Dear Senator, I called your office this morning, but you were unavailable to talk. So, I thought it might be appropriate to express my concerns in writing. I was shocked to hear that people high up in Washington think that the Napa Valley Wine Train received $54 million in stimulus money -- which, of course, we didn’t. I, and a number of other people, have read your Stimulus Checkup – a report outlining poor government spending. Page 14 (number 11 on list) is titled “All Aboard the Wine Train ($54 million).”
